Giulio Cocchi at Vinitaly 2019
Cocchi will be present at the 2019 edition of Vinitaly in Verona (April 7 th -10th ) at Hall 10 Piemonte booth Q3.
1999: this is the first vintage of Cocchi metodo classico bearing in label the Alta Langa denomination (born in 2002 but retroactive up at the cuvée of three years before)
A Totocorde by Pinot nero & Chardonnay that has sealed the birth of the Doc and always been produced by Cocchi in the course of these twenty years.
After Totocorde, Bianc ‘d Bianc (the first Alta Langa from pure Chardonnay, in 2000) and Rösa (the first Alta Langa rosé, 100% Pinot noir, year 2000) and during these latest years a Pas Dosé of mere Pinot noir grapes produced in the vintages 2008, 2011, 2012 in 5.000 bottles and 500 magnum.
Metodo classico has always been part of Cocchi history: from “Sparkling Brut Champenois Method”, leading product at the end of the 70’s, new productions appeared targeting to the excellence and the valorization of an output of great relevance and tradition for Piedmont’s territory.
At Vinitaly Totocorde 2014, Bianc ‘d Bianc 2014, Rösa 2015 & Pas Dosé 2012 can be tasted.
GRAPPA of ALTA LANGA COCCHI – In the pioneering approach to Alta Langa theme of Cocchi, a new chapter is added: Grappa di Alta Langa, made from Pinot noir and Chardonnay grape marc. Young and fresh, it releases an intense and at the same time subtle perfume, presenting notes of white fruits and cranberries and a delicate honey hint. Elegant and fragrant, it gives to the palate pleasant notes of red fruits and blueberry up to fresher vegetable notes; a very light spicy note sweetened with honey completes the whole of this white and neat grappa. Distilled by Marolo with grape marc of Pinot noir & Chardonnay.
COCCHI AROMATIZED WINES AND A PANETTONE AROMATIZED WITH VERMOUTH DI TORINO BY ALBERTENGO
All the aromatized products of Cocchi can be tasted at Vinitaly: Americano, Cocchi Rosa, Storico Vermouth di Torino, Vermouth Amaro Dopo Teatro, Riserva Venaria Reale & Barolo Chinato.
