Cima Coppi

By demonbitters

Recipe:

50ml Cocchi Americano

15ml Byrrh

A large orange zest coin

75ml soda water

How to do it:

A low alcohol libation for those evenings when you are planning an early ride the next morning. Which are the two key cycling nations? France and Italy of course. Cima Coppi is the highest point each year in the Giro D’Italia (the big Italian stage bike race). So our main player is Italian; Cocchi Americano. But riding on his shoulder is a Frenchman; Byrrh. The result is a delicately pink shaded low alcohol sipper.

Ideally just used chilled ingredients. Put first two in a coupette. Express over the orange zest and drop in. Add the soda.
